7-9 Year Old Soccer Training Clinics:

>Tuesdays: 5:00-6:00pm, Dec. 17 – Feb. 18 (next session starts Feb. 25)

> Each class meets once a week: 40 minutes for the 2+ year-olds, 50 minutes for 3-4’s & 4-5’s and one hour for the 5-6’s & 7-9’s.

> Sign up in the Goalgetters book at the Get Fit Sport front desk or by mail with a check or via PayPal to

> The fee is $159 per 8-week session (plus $15 if you want a Goalgetters t-shirt). There are no refunds (unless you do not get into your class).

> These sessions work on all soccer skills and are for beginners as well as those with experience.

> Each player must be ready to play with shorts, sweatpants or tights, a t-shirt, flat-soled shoes (not cleats) and shin guards with long socks (not required for the 2+, 3-4 or 4-5 year old classes). These are available at Soccer and Lifestyle on 2nd street in downtown Davis. Mention Goalgetters and get 10% off.

> Players must enter and stay in the field willingly and independently (especially pertinent for the 3-4’s). Parents may sit on the field for 2+ yr olds.

♦  Early sign-ups and waitlists may fill up a class so please make a 2nd choice.

*3 year olds generally join the 3-4 year old class but younger 3’s may do the 2+ class. The 3-4 is appropriate if they are okay on the field without their parents & have decent listening skills (meaning for a 3 year old, of course).

**The 4-5 year old classes have a bit more structure than the classes for 3-4 year olds and a bit less than the 5-6. This class is generally (but not exclusively) for older 4’s and younger 5’s. Kids learn slightly more advanced skills than the 3-4’s.

***5-7 year olds classes (and older) are when the kids start scrimmaging. It is a great introduction to competition with an emphasis on sportsmanship and respect for all. We greatly value developing these attitudes for these ages.
